A Severe Result From Dental Disease

We recently saw a sweet, senior Chihuahua for a dental cleaning.  Unfortunately, he had suffered a severe consequence of periodontal disease… a jaw fracture.  The jaw had fractured due to disease around the roots and repair was not an option.  This is an unfortunate reminder of the importance of preventative veterinary dental cleanings and assessments.  Give us a call to schedule your pet’s next dental cleaning- we are located in Vancouver, Washington, and happily serving Clark County and many Portland, Oregon pets!
